These part numbers will be confusing. Initially, the Service Parts List books do not identify a separate part number for the insert tapping plate. It does identify a MB19556 Buffer Assembly, which is a set of multiple parts. Then the assembly number changed to AAA5115. There are also part numbers AHH6273 and AHH6273K for the buffer and the assembly (where "K" may refer to "Kit"), but these numbers are not in the SPL books for MGA. They may be early production MGB part numbers. Also after market parts vendors seem to use these part numbers interchangeably, so it may be difficult to know what you may get without pictures. So do ask questions before ordering parts.

The original tapping plate was a steel part, possibly zinc plated. Modern replacement tapping plates are often aluminum material, which promotes galvanic corrosion, and may be impossible to disassemble in the future. The screw was originally 2BA x 5/8" long raised countersunk Phillips head. That head size is smaller than the head of a #10-32-UNF screw, so both the thread and head of replacement screws (as well as replacement tapping plates) may be inappropriate for this application.
