New two-seater sports design, with independent front suspension and rack and pinion steering, as on 'Y'-type. 1250cc, 4-cylinder, ohv engine (as in 'TC'). 54.5 bhp at 5200 rpm. Bolt-on dicsc wheels (pierced on later cars). 'TD' Mark II available (1950 on) with increased power (57 bhp at 5500 rpm) and optional centre-lock wire wheels. Approximately 30,000 built.
