In this picture, the black part on right is the correct part, while the silver part on left is what is being supplied by Moss Motors. They are too small, and imposible to install.
I got stuck with these bad parts from Moss Motors on 3/6/2019, and again on 10/4/2021. John Terschak in Wakeman, OH, USA reports more bad parts from Moss in 2021, and again February 1, 2024. So this has been a problem for at least 5 years by now. Moss recent reply was, "I can't help you because I'm different state from Moss". Definitely something wrong with that reply.
Correct parts are available from Scarborough Faire, their part number D40 Spring Nut.
