Lighting switch
To help avoid confusion with an unmarked replacement lighting switch, this is a picture of an original Lucas lighting switch in upright orientation. You can check the terminal functions with a test light or ohm meter. For the "off" position (full in) no terminals are connected, but the A terminal should always be hot (live input from battery). For the "parking light" position (half out) terminals A and S1 are connected (bottom terminal should be dead). For the "head light" position (full out) all three terminals will be connected.
