"I cut a notch in the down pipe deep enough to clear the shaft then welded a curved piece back in. Then you have increase the length of the tin pipes by about 2 inches and have a 'S' pipe bent to hook up the A exhaust pipe. Was it worth it, maybe, but it sounds good, maybe a little more low end. I've been running it for about 13 years like this, so it can be done".
