FUEL VENT-OVERFLOW PIPES Disconnect Modification - CB-109B
Here is a nifty carburetor modification sent by Paul Millar. The problem is with a fully assembled MGA it is nigh impossibe to get to the P-clip securing the bottom ends of the float chamber vent pipes. So to remove the carburetor you have to disconnect the vent pipe from top of the float chamber, and that leaves the float chamber cover parts loose to fall apart. With this modification you can disconnect the vent pipe from the banjo fitting and leave the float chamber completely assembled.
