Post Office and general store at Deadhorse. More than the sum of its parts, this place looks more like a WallMart inside. Other stores of interest to the visitor might be the NAPA Auto Parts, the Chevron full service gas station, or the Tessaro do-it-yourself credit card fuel pump. The only restaurants in town are in the hotels, and no grocery store anywhere. That part seemed a little strange, considering we were 500 miles from Fairbanks. But then there doesn't seem to be any private home in town either, just lots of hotels.
