The MGA With An Attitude

June 18, 2:00 pm. Ahhh, finally! The haul road ends at Deadhorse, three miles short of the Arctic Ocean. Here you find the prominent local landmark, the Prudhoe Bay National Forest, and you're looking at it (all of it). The plywood trees are the only ones you will see 300 miles north of the arctic circle. And the mother and cub Polar bears on the sign are also about the closest you will get to reality, as Polar bears spend most of their life on ice flows at sea.
