"The way I solved it was to make a roll from a terrycloth towel to wrap the window while down. It protects the plastic and it protects the paint on the rear scuttle. The straps lace under the rear of the top and up and around. The window is rolled up toward the opening. It is secured by velcro attached to the straps".
