Brake Service Tool, Vintage - TS-151
Here's a nice little vintage tool being reproduced by Richard Stokes in Oakdale, CA, USA. The 3/8-inch wide nose end is inserted to R&R the bee hive springs. Square holes at ends of the handle are used on the square shank adjuster screws, either 1/4-inch or 5/16-inch.
There are some pictures of these tools in Lockheed brand rappers, but having the AP brand stamped on them. Something similar may have been supplied with various makers' names over the years. Some more recently seen
Credit where credit is due, please. Photos and measurements of the original tool graciously provided by John Tygart in Syracuse, New York, USA. CAD layout and initial run of prototype parts by Bob Shafto in New Hudson, MI. Parts reproduction (manufacture) done by Richard Stokes in Oakdale, CA, USA. Bully for teamwork.
