Here the Speedi-Sleeve is properly pressed onto the housing. The outer end of the sleeve is just inside of the bearing shoulder on the housing, about even with the back of the chamfer where the seal will slip over the shoulder. Notice that the flanged end of the sleeve is not all the way back against the next face of the axel housing. And that flange does not fit inside of the rotating hub, so it will have to be removed. From this point on, be careful not to scratch the polished surface of the new seal ring.
