"I got a couple of 1/2-20-UNF bolts 4-inches long and cut the heads off. This gave me a good start for the front frame extension studs.

Looking around, I found the old distance tubes I replaced in the swivel links. These were the exact ID/OD, but were a little short in length. Cut off a little extra from an extra spacer, then welded them together and to the bolts. A little grind, a little paint and they almost look OEM. I'll have to grind a little of the paint off before I weld them to the front extension. Necessity and the mother of invention".

This is great, seeing someone using old worn out parts to make new parts.
