The wood batten fitting behind the MGA door panel is supposed to be tapered, 1/2-inch thick at the top edge to 1/4-in thick at the bottom edge. The current issue part from Moss Motors is flat and only 1/4-inch thick. Moss Motors has been notified of this problem, now to wait to see what they may do about it.

Moss does not supply this wood piece as a separate part, and maybe no one else does either. From original production it was always part of the door liner assembly. But you could make your own from information and pattern at INT-103A
