FAN BLADE R&R Without Removing Radiator - CO-104B

"I was able to replace the metal fan with a nylon fan by tilting the radiator forward. I drained about 2 quarts of coolant, removed the top radiator hose, removed the top 2 bolts on each side and loosened the bottom bolt on each side.

I then just gently tilted the fan forward, which gave me plenty of room to replace the fan. I did put some cardboard against the radiator so as to not bend any fins or nick the radiator.

Worked great, and I didn't have to drain the radiator, remove the bottom radiator hose, realign the bolt holes or even loosen the generator. The whole job took less than 1 hour.
