NAVIGATOR'S DESK, Front Bar and Bottom Brackets -- AT-200B

desk frame front bar

The first part will be the easiest. Just cut off a length of steel strap and make two bends. Keep the bend radius small, like half the thickness of the material. You can hammer it over the corner of a vise jaw to square it up.

desk frame bottom bracket

The next part is almost as easy, just two bends and one drilled hole, but you need to make two of these. You may need a protractor to get the bend angles right. You could drill the hole before bending, but if you do that, then run a drill through it again afterward in case the hole gets deformed by the bending process.
